Oz Sultan — Publisher
Our Publisher is a Big Data and Counterterrorism Strategist who has
worked with U.S. PeaceTech Lab, The Economist, IBM and other corporate
and government clients over the past decade. He is also a conservative
Muslim pundit who is actively working to build interfaith dialogue and
prevent radicalization. He has previously been in the top 30 of Top
Conservatives on Twitter and is continually searching for the most
perfect hamburger in America.
Jacob King — Managing Editor
Jacob King is a junior at Colgate University and studies English and Writing and Rhetoric. He currently works with the Republican Leadership Initiative in New York City. Jacob specializes in being poignantly opinionated and correcting grammar. In his free time, you can spot Jacob on his longboard singing Frank Ocean while trying to catch ’em all.
Patricia Bober — Modern Culture Editor
Patricia Bober is a senior at Fordham University who is majoring in political science and theology. She is a student member of Pi Sigma Alpha and Alpha Theta Omicron. She is a student worker for the Art History, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts Department at Fordham University. As a member of the Republican Leadership Initiative, she has established numerous connections with various individuals through personal interactions like voter registration, as well as collective outreach events, such as petitioning for local and state level politicians. On a daily basis, she enjoys reading novels, watching documentaries, and discussing political developments with her peers.
Felipe J. Cuello — Editor at Large
Felipe J. Cuello is a Dominican-American policy analyst formerly of the European Commission and various UN bodies. He is a specialist in migration, development, and international development aid. He is also an alumnus of the United Nations University.
Emily Knight— Editor, Puppies & Giggles
Emily is a 20 year old college student who enjoys the time she spends with her sorority sisters and cheerleading. She is currently studying Government and Business at Manhattan College and plans to go to law school in NYC. Emily loves all animals and dogs but if she had to pick her favorite it would either be a German Shepard or a Corgi. Although she is constantly smiling, Emily is most joyful when she is cooking in the kitchen.
Matthew is first and foremost a lifelong New Yorker. A graduate of Columbia University for both undergraduate and law school, Matthew is a recovering attorney currently working in real estate. Once referred to by a New York tabloid as “an unnamed bar patron”, Matthew is actively trying to figure out a way to get paid to drink whiskey on the beach while watching horse racing and listening to Kesha.
A Muslim, Poet, Writer, Lover, Fighter…misunderstood, like everyone else in the world…yet, still manages to enjoy Life.
Drew Derrenbacker is a junior at Colgate University studying Political Science and Economics. He is the current President of the Colgate College Republicans and Outreach Chair of Colgate Young Americans for Liberty. Drew enjoys discussing politics, the stock market, and the New York Yankees. Outside of the school, you can find Drew golfing, hosting a classic rock radio show, or watching Shark Tank.
Matt is a lifelong resident of Bernardsville, New Jersey. He is currently a junior at Colgate University studying political science. His writing interests include politics, government, and business. When at Colgate, Matt is the Vice President of the College Republicans as well as a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity. He has previously worked as an intern for NJ Assemblyman Anthony M. Bucco, where he became seriously interested in politics and solutions to some of our biggest problems.
