So, ICYMI — JeM,The Deobandi terrorist group — that has plagued Pakistan for years — recently carried out a terrorist attack within the disputed AJK region (Kashmir), that prompted a military response.

India held Pakistan responsible for JeM’s terror act — why?

Largely because Pakistan has large tracts of land that are difficult to police / patrol — and as JeM (Jaish-e-Muhammad)and JaA (Jaish ul Adl), who recently attacked #Iran) operate in those areas.

The Indian attack quickly drew sharp response from India’s PM Modi — holding Pakistan responsible and calling for retribution.

Airstrikes quickly followed with India blowing up a farm and a questionable Madrassa (school).

Memes and tweets mocking Pakistan, talking retribution and Bollywood style mockery filled the Web.

Pakistan, however downed an Indian fighter and captured a pilot — who while returned — which, unfortunately led to more mocking of Pakistan online

Indian Actress, and the new Mrs. Joe Jonas, Priyanka Chopra even got involved, which rallied Pakistanis to protest her removal as a UNICEF ambassador.

And Pakistan lodging complaints with the UN about “Eco-Terrorism” from India bombing trees. Yes, trees.

Why? Because India ended up hitting a farm with their “surgical strikes”.

The border skirmish continues with Indian artillery shelling — and Pakistan saying they will “retaliate”

The outcome of which is yet to be seen.

Meanwhile, China — which borders the AJK (Kashmir) has a vested interest in the region, and may get involved.

AJK (Azad, Jammu and Kashmir)

Which — while we all can’t watch it unfold on Weibo and Chinese social media, yet — is sure to be a treasure trove of more social shennanigans.
